Besavior P5MATE is a USB adapter for PlayStation 5 to play PS5 games with your favourite setup. P5MATE has a built-in controller authentication chip, making it a true plug-and-play solution. No patches, no disconnects, no worries!

Hook up a XIM MATRIX, XIM APEX, Titan Two, Cronus Zen, Titan One, or ReaSnow S1 to your PS5 through P5MATE. There's no need for Remote Play, wireless, or ethernet connections. Plus you can use XIM NEXUS, Xbox One, Series X, PS4 or Switch Pro controllers on PS5.

Just plug P5MATE into a USB port on your PS5, connect your input adapter or controller to P5MATE, start the console using the power button and you’re good to go.

P5MATE has only 1ms input lag and supports 1000Hz on XIM and Titan adapters, so it’s virtually lag-free and won't slow down your connected devices.

Beloader P5Mate Requirements

General

  • Connect Besavior P5MATE to PlayStation 5 (PS5) console via the upper USB port using the supplied USB-A to USB-A cable.
  • Connect a third-party input adapter or console controller to the lower USB port on P5MATE (USB cable not included).
  • On the PS5 console, enable Wired Communication via Settings → Devices → Controllers → Communication Method: Use USB Cable.
  • P5MATE may be connected to an external USB power supply using the supplied USB-C to USB-A cable.
  • A headset may be connected to the P5MATE 3.5mm audio jack for HD console audio and game chat.

XIM MATRIX

  • Setup a XIM MATRIX game config using Controller (Xbox, PS4) as Output in XIM MATRIX Manager app.
  • Do NOT select Controller (PS5) as Output, it is only for a Remote Play connection on XIM MATRIX via ethernet.
  • Connect a DualSense (PS5) or DualShock 4 (PS4) controller to XIM MATRIX for P5Mate console authentication.

XIM APEX

  • Update XIM APEX to the latest firmware for DUALSENSE controller support.
  • Create a XIM APEX game config using PS4 or PS5 as the system, depending on XIM game support.
  • Connect a DualSense (PS5) or DualShock 4 (PS4) controller to XIM APEX for P5Mate console authentication.

XIM NEXUS

  • Update XIM NEXUS controller and adapter to the latest firmware for DUALSENSE controller support.
  • Create a XIM NEXUS game config using PS4 or PS5 as the system, depending on XIM game support.
  • Connect a DualSense (PS5) or DualShock 4 (PS4) controller to XIM NEXUS adapter for P5Mate console authentication.

Titan Two

  • Update Titan Two to the latest firmware release in Gtuner IV app for DUALSENSE controller support.
  • Set Titan Two Output Protocol to PlayStation 4 USB in Gtuner IV app.
  • Connect a DualSense (PS5) or DualShock 4 (PS4) controller to Titan Two for P5Mate console authentication.

Titan One

  • Update Titan One to the latest firmware release in Gtuner Pro app for DUALSENSE controller support.
  • Connect a DualSense (PS5) or DualShock 4 (PS4) controller to Titan One for P5Mate console authentication.

Cronus Zen

  • Update Cronus Zen to the latest firmware in Zen Studio app.
  • Connect a DualSense (PS5) or DualShock 4 (PS4) controller to Cronus Zen for P5Mate console authentication.

Reasnow S1

  • Update Reasnow S1 to the latest firmware.
  • Connect a DualSense (PS5) or DualShock 4 (PS4) controller to Reasnow S1 for P5Mate console authentication.

Controllers

  • Besavior P5Mate supports genuine, wired DualSense (PS5), DualSense Edge (PS5), DualShock 4 (PS4), DualShock 3 (PS3), Nintendo Switch Pro, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Elite and Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers.
  • P5MATE does not support direct wireless controller connection.
  • P5MATE does not support DUALSHOCK 4 or Xbox Wireless Controller Adapters.
  • P5MATE does not support controller rumble.
  • Third-party controllers are not supported.
  • Xbox Adaptive Controller and QuadStick are not directly supported by P5MATE, but can connect to P5MATE through a Mayflash Magic-X Wireless Bluetooth USB Adapter.

Beloader P5Mate FAQ

P5MATE is a USB game adapter that allows various third-party devices and controllers to connect to PlayStation 5 (PS5) consoles. This compatibility allows you to play PS4 and PS5 games using your preferred peripherals.

P5MATE offers a plug-and-play experience without hacks, workarounds, software, Remote Play or network connections.

P5MATE features a built-in controller authentication chip that can’t be detected and will continue to work even with PS5 system updates.

For PS5 Standard, Digital and Pro:

  • Plug the P5MATE directly into one of the USB ports on your PS5 console.

For PS5 Slim:

  • Connect the P5MATE to one of the USB ports on the back of the console, as the front USB-C port may not provide power to the device.

P5MATE supports a wide range of input adapter including XIM MATRIX, XIM APEX, Titan Two, Titan One, Cronus Zen and Reasnow S1.

No, the P5MATE eliminates the need for Remote Play. It connects directly to your PS5 via USB, providing a seamless gaming experience without additional software.

The P5MATE offers a 1000Hz USB connection, ensuring a fast and virtually lag-free 1ms gaming experience.

To update the firmware:

  1. Visit the Beloader Forum.
  2. Navigate to the appropriate download section for the P5MATE
  3. Follow the provided instructions to download and install the latest firmware via the P5MATE Update page.

If your P5Mate isn’t functioning correctly on PlayStation 5, consider the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Some users have reported that connecting the P5Mate to the front USB ports of the PS5 offers more stable performance compared to the rear ports.
  2. Inserting a USB hub between the P5Mate and the PS5 has resolved connectivity issues for some users.
  3. Ensure the P5Mate receives sufficient power by using a short, high-quality USB cable (preferably 30cm or shorter) rated at 5V3A.
  4. Verify that all connected peripherals (controllers, keyboards, mice) are compatible with the P5Mate. Some devices may require additional adapters or specific settings to function correctly.
  5. Ensure your P5Mate has the latest firmware installed, as updates often address compatibility issues with new console versions. Visit the Beloader Forum for the latest firmware releases and installation instructions.

If you’re using a PS5 Slim and the P5MATE doesn’t power on when connected to the front USB-C ports, try connecting it to one of the USB ports on the back of the console. Some users have reported that the front USB-C ports may not provide adequate power to the P5MATE.
